I work at a golf course in Indiana and I'm trying to convince our bar manager to start carrying craft beers on tap. He said if I could come up with 3 low ABV summer beers, readily available in the midwest, he would order them for the bar. So basically, help me pick out some good ones!

Why not go all Three Floyds, Gumballhead (5.6%abv), Zombie Dust (6.4%abv) & Pride & Joy(5.0%abv)!!!

The trick here is low abv, and available. I'm sure you'll get tons of 'great' responses, heady topper and pliny and the likes.
I would suggest Founder's All Day and SN Pale Ale, but really what you need, is LOCAL stuff. I don't know how good your local beers are, but I would love to go to my golf course and see my local brews on tap rather than bud light.

The Founder's All Day & SN Pale Ale are both relatively low ABV and the SN is always available. I would go with something local and rotating for the 3rd if the bar manager would go for it. I don't know what kind of club it is, but if there's a refreshment cart, perhaps you could convince the boss to put out some craft beer cans of the same beers you would have on tap. A good way to see if the draft beer will move also. If this idea gets you a raise, give me a shout. If this idea gets you fired, forget me.

Founders All Day, Bell's Oberon, Sierra Nevada Summerfest, Victory Prima Pils, New Belgium Rolle Bolle.

All those I think are available easily in Indiana. Not sure on the exact ABVs of them, but pretty sure they are all on the low side. I would be thrilled if a golf course around me had any of those, let alone three of them, on tap. Best of luck to you!

I'd go with Founders All Day for the IPA fans, SN for the new-to-craft crew, and something light and local, like maybe Upland's Champagne Velvet (it'll appeal to the Bud/Miller crowd) or Sun King Sunlight Cream Ale.

I would second the Sun King Sunlight Cream Ale, that would be great on the course. Even better if you could get an occasional Sun King seasonal like Popcorn Pilsner or heaven forbid Grapefruit Jungle. Also, maybe Fat Head Head Hunter if you could get it.

All of those are over 5% though, with GJ and HH over 7%.

Founders All Day IPA...With them coming in Cans that would rock at a golf course as well....Oberon would really work too...The third I would recommend some kind of Hefeweizen.JMO

While not local, Paulaner Hefe-Weizen comes in cans and is readily available damn near everywhere.

Oberon should be the #1 answer here and it blows my mind that every post has not mentioned it. It is far and away the most popular (summer time) craft beer in the Midwest.

Sidekick by Two Brothers would be a good choice. 5.2%, I believe.

This guy ^^^ just beat me to it.

Great summer brew and different enough that it you could easily have both this and Oberon on tap at the same time.
