I agree. RPM is always on tap at one of the bars about 5min from me. Hard to beat.

By all means, please tell me which beers I should enjoy. Look we get it your cooler than most of us and have a more diverse palette, doesn't take away from the original question, which local beers spoil us. I'm lucky enough to live in a region that caters to my taste. Alesmith's and Modern Times' stouts are very hard to beat, as they are fantastic. And for IPAs, aside from Societe, which doesn't bottle their beers, no one really rivals Alpine's IPAs in San Diego. And as far as stone, Enjoy by is awesome and the Tasting room is less than a mile from where i live. Again I'm not saying these are the only styles everyone should drink, but hey, they work for me. Cheers!

Obviously having Trillium close by makes driving to VT for IPAs not worth it anymore. But I would say having a plethora of cheap, fresh IPAs from Ipswich, Smutty, and Sierra Nevada is amazing. I can stop in on a Sunday, buy whichever is freshest for $12-$14, drink that for the week and stop into Trillium on Thurs/Fri to grab a few specialties for the weekend. Good times to be a hop head.

I never said what you should be enjoying. I was providing commentary on what I find to be a boring problem in the craft beer world. People talk about the same 3 styles ad naseum. It just gets old. Enjoy whatever you want. I just find it more interesting as a BA to enjoy every style of beer instead of the 18th local IPA. It's not as fun for me on this website when it seems like to be people only talk about the same thing over and over. Frustration boils over, and posts like mine get created. It happens, it's the internet.

We receive reasonably fresh bottles of it here in NYC and I had always been kind of unimpressed until having it on draft recently. I was blown away by what a beautiful, delicate beer it is! Night and day.

And in the context of the thread, Other Half and SingleCut! SingleCut is always releasing fresh bottles that are easy to get and their IPAs are delicious.

The Pipeworks IIPa's are really unbelievable. Square Grouper and Killer Queen being my favorites.

Did a 4 person blind taste test with Heady, Sip Of Sunshine, PseudoSue and some other top rated brews and Pipeworks came out on top to my surprise. It's safe to say I won't be trading for IIPa's in the near future.

Weyerbacher Sunday morning stout. I drive by the brewery on my way home from work so stopping in for special releases is no problem.

Agreed with the FL posts. Hittin up a grocery store for a fresh Jai Alai any time you want is pretty convenient.

Good point. I do enjoy having Long Trail and Smuttynose on the shelf at Roche Bros. I also love that Finestkind is now available in cans.

Flower Power. I do like other IPAs better but that is pretty rare.

Same answer I give to most these question. Kane & Carton. 5 years ago there was no beer in NJ, then 1 guy invented session IPA and another made a gold medal Bourbon Stout. Spoiled.
