Local breweries vs Nationally Distributed Breweries

What are some of your favorite AL breweries? Hoping to see more AL distribution in GA.

I only judge a beer by the beer itself, not where it came from.

The one local brewery here is awful. The only other in-state beer I can get is Real Ale (pretty good), Rahr & Sons (mediocre as hell), and Shiner (if that counts). Really wish we got Jester King out here in west Texas.

So, national stuff.

 

i am in nor-cali -- i can get tons of Lagunitas and Bear Republic -- sandiego is well rep'd with STONE and PORT ... my local brewery is HERETIC. which is awesome.

i am all for LOCAL vs, NOT LOCAL.

but it is what it is, you are where you are.

there are cali brews i cant get.... like Kern or Alpine... others are good but too pricey. Ruhstaller and Knee Deep.

i like to get some pliny a couple times a year. but i dont really care -- when i have the oppurtunity to hit the tap room i go... but only on a weekday, early. the beer is good, the food is meh, if the bar is 2 deep --- pass pass.


what i really want is ODELLS MYCENARY et al.

other than that.... i dont drink bud or sam. also i see no point in DFH head being here.

did i mention FW. i love you FW. where is union jack? it has been missing from my usual spots. you were in Raleys.... but now i only see PIVO and the mixed 12. no more UJ at the SUPERMARKET? too bad.
