Some friends and I are heading to Denver next weekend. Any recommendations for some good local beers to drink? Also what are the chances of Pliny being available?

    Cheers!

If you like ipas, deck out Brewery Rickoli in Wheatridge. It's located in a strip mall and is tiny but damn those ipas are great. Also check out Great Divide in lower downtown Denver.

Too many beers to name, really. You'd have the best luck at beer bars: Falling Rock, Freshcraft, Lucky Pie, World of Beer (if it's open), Euclid Hall, Star Bar, Cheeky Monk and Ale House at Amatos. All are downtown-ish. Pliny is usually on tap at Falling Rock, but I haven't been in a while. Just outside of downtown are Colorado + that taps only Colorado beers (50?), and Hops and Pie (usually a long wait)

Agreed. Too many beers to start naming any.

As for Pliny, it's almost always on at Falling Rock. As of two days ago, Bling Pig was pouring too.
