I like the brown a lot, it’s a little heaftier than some other browns. The lo-pitch ipa is solid as are their seasonals.

I’ve only been to Eurisko once a couple months ago but thought they were doing good things. I need to go back to confirm my initial thoughts.

Well, Portland, ME and Greensboro and Burlington, VT are all almost exactly 150 miles from my house so that leaves me with, by relative distance, Honest Weight, Brick & Feather, River Roost and Tree House. No real hardship there.

If we're still allowed to trade within a hundred miles, @jhavs is fairly close by. Is it OK if I trade my central Massachusetts for his northern Vermont?

100 mi? Wow, generous distance, though no need.

Most of what I drink would be included. Most of my IPA imbibing is of the local variety, because , if nothing else, those are the only ones I can be sure are in top form.

I live 3/4mi from Beer Tree Brew Co. A slight majority of my IPAs have been from there lately. If you insist on one local regular, it'd have to be either Galaxy's Clouded Perceptions (IPA) , or The Farmhouse's Crazy Daizy (Belgian Tripel) . (Beer Tree hasn't had anything all of the time.)

There's also 3 other local breweries, besides the above, that make some that I would gladly include in the "all local" restriction : The North, Water Street Brewing, & Binghamton Brewing.

Expanding the zone to 60mi +/- gives Ommegang, Upstate, Critz Farms, Good Nature, Ithaca, and Hopshire Farms. Slightly more than that reaches Prison City,Matt's/Saranac,Middle Ages, & a whole host of breweries that I've never even tried, or probably heard of. I could live with just Ommegang's offerings, and did just that for quite awhile.

Works for me! Seems like we will make our pretty well with the available options in our local areas.

I do drink a fair amount of stuff from northern New England that does exceed the 100 mile limit, but give me 150 and I'm basically in full compliance already. At the same time, you could reduce it to 50 or even 25 and I'd still have more than enough to choose from.

I feel like the people posting 'I'm good 'cause I've got breweries ABCDEFandG" might not be in full compliance with the intent of the thread: "What would you drink on a daily basis that’s regularly brewed?" I know I'd be in dire straits despite the fact that I live within 100 miles of internationally acclaimed breweries. When I think about what's regularly brewed within 100 miles of me (and I'm thinking of brewing location, not company location), I feel like I'd give up drinking beer.

Given the number of Long Island & NYC breweries, this is now a very viable option. Would I prefer to do this; no. But could it allow me to drink quality craft beer whenever I wanted? Absolutely!

I could live happily with nothing but Santa Adairius. Maybe 2 miles from my house.

I'm about 10 miles from Philly (in the burbs) and less than 90 miles from NYC. Plus I'm in range of all of Delaware and New Jersey and large chunks of MD. But I'd still stick with my SE PA troika of Victory, Weyerbacher and Troegs. I've gotten so much great beer from those guys that I'd be fine going the rest of my life with just them as suppliers.

I agree, most of my beers come from over 100 miles away. We have tons of local options but I certainly don’t trust them enough at $12/6.

Now $2 a beer is cheap enough unless your stuck with 5 drain pours on the backside. Then that experiment costs you $12 on shitty beer.

Very location dependent and strongly influenced by quality of lesser known local stuff (lacking hype). And I just realized I spaced another of my frequent purchases, Chico is less than 100 miles from my house, so Sierra Nevada added to my earlier list probably currently accounts for well over 60% of my purchases. So I'd be fine if that's all I had access to in the future.

A hundred miles also goes a long, long way near New York metro, as well. I'd probably stick to the breweries I am currently intently exploring, e.g. Captain Lawrence, Other Half, Hudson Valley, and continue making side runs to New England, especially Tree House, and to New Jersey, e.g. Kane, Carton, Magnify. Haven't even really cracked eastern Pennsylvania, which is clearly in a great beer state.

Wow. A totally different take on the same region immediately after my post. There are breweries here that I like and/or respect, but I'm really struggling thinking of any beer regularly brewed in NYC or on Long Island that I would routinely buy. Does Barrier brew Imposter often enough? What qualifies for you?

I’d be set just going 100 miles from my house while also limiting it to staying within state lines.
