Sweet! That gets me to Houston thataway and Austin the other. And if we fudge a minute or two, I got Jester King in my local+plus:grinning:, so I'm definitely a third-third-third kind of drinker.

I'd swear some of you New York-area/East Coast boys have it *too* good with your local+pluses. Not that I'm complaining about mine, but sometimes I wonder if @cavedave needs a car to get to that embarrassment of riches in his backyard. (and he's just one of several of you BAs up there)

I tend to drink the best beer at the best value, when I was living in Michigan it was bells and founders because it was always the cheap, fresh and available everywhere. Now I live in Europe it’s mostly German and Czech Pilsners (and wine)with a sprinkling of small breweries from Europe mostly England Denmark and USA they’re are usually deliscious but always pretty pricey so they’re are not my go to beers. So I’m probably 75% local I gues

There are times I think I have opened my eyes and wakened in Beer Heaven around here. Going to Equilibrium this morning to pick up more heavenly beers to enjoy, and to try about 50 others on the share table. Heaven I tell ya.

Probably 15-20% local for me and by local I mean in state. I make it a point to grab one or two KS beers I haven't tried every time I mix a 6 pack

I would say that 90% of my beer comes from California. That 90% is probably close to equally split with one half being breweries in San Diego county (heavily leaning on Modern Times) and the other half consisting of Sierra Nevada and Lagunitas. The other 10% really just consists of special release type stuff from out of state such as Bourbon County, BA Ten Fidy, Fremont, etc.

I drink local with few exceptions. So many great beers are coming out of Colorado right now that I don't need anything else really. But as I say that I just finished an elevated ipa from New Mexico and cracked the top on * DIPA from melvin. So when I branch out I guess I stay regional.

I'm honestly not sure. I'd guess something around 1/3. Definitely not more than 40% local. I drink a lot of imports because very few American brewers are touching the greatness of Belgian/French saisons/Biere de Gardes, English anything, and German/Czech anything.

At least 75% of what I've drunk in the past year has been NC beer; maybe 25% from within 20 miles of my house.

I drink maybe 5% local, mostly from one brewery. A local brewery opened over the summer, and they have decent beers and crowlers, so I've tried to keep up with all of their new releases.

I'm 67 years old, I drank shitty beer most of my life. Now I'm pretty much a Lagunitas, Bells or Founders guy. There are 2 tiny brewery's nearby that have taprooms that are open Wednesday thru Saturday only and will gladly fill your growler or draw a pint for you. The beer isn't comparable to the above, but the owners, staff and atmosphere that these places provide are worth something to me.

I would say 95% of what I drink comes from the state I live in.

    According to my UT checkins:

27.8% breweries within 30 mins drive
    57.2% Oregon breweres
    68.6% OR/WA/ID breweries

I would have guessed my local and state-wide percentages were higher, but I do like to tick new stuff from distribution.

    Probably 90% local. Including homebrew.
No bias against anywhere else, that’s just the way it works out.
It’s kind of like local music for me. There are just two so many great underground artists out there, I can’t possibly listen to them all, so I listen to Chicago stuff almost exclusively.

I would say 10%, I simply drink what I enjoy. If more of the local breweries begin to produce a better product, then my percentage will go up.

At this point, I'd say that overall at least 50% of the beer I consume is made by breweries within a 30 mile or so radius of where I live. There's no way that even 2 or 3 years ago to ratio was this high. There's just so many really good breweries here in the greater Cleveland area now to choose from, and a lot of these bottle or can their stuff that I can get at the store and or have kegs of their stuff on-tap in various locations around town. Or both. I love supporting my local breweries.

I've gotta be at around 80% "local", but thats mostly because I live just south of Grand Rapids. With Founders, Vivant, and New Holland within just a few miles, plus Bells just a bit further down the road I really am spoiled.
Back when I lived in Ann Arbor I was at probably around 10% local, only if you'd count Jolly Pumpkin. This would be different now with HOMES opening since I moved.
