Too bad; haven't gotten to try their seasonals. I like Buried Hatchet and Bombshell Blonde. BA Buried Hatchet was pretty tasty too.

Oh, I think I saw a tweet saying that South Austin Brewing stuff is making it down to Houston, but, uh...yeah. Probably best to stick with Adelbert's for a local Belgian golden.

I've only had their Buried Hatchet and it was ok.

If you like smoky beers and it is available in your area, I've been drinking up a good amount of Ranger Creek Mesquite Smoked Porter.

Original Black Metal Stout from Jester King is still lurking in a lot of grocery stores, and even some Spec's. Definitely check it out if you can.

I second this. If you get lucky and find the right store, you might even be able to snag some of last year's ('11) batch.

The 2011 batch was released in January of this year, so it's the most recent one available right now, actually.

Nope. 2012 is on the shelves. I've seen it in 4 packs at Specs

Anyone know why every 4 pack I have seen is more expensive than buying 4 singles?

I am pretty sure that they were $4 each as singles and now $16 in 4-pack. Seems the same to me.

May be a few at Spec's Arbor Walk. Ask for 'em.

It seemed like the 12 came out really close to the 11.

Yes, but, when buying more, you expect to save money, just think it is a bit odd. Not saying it is a big deal, but I can't think of any other where a single is even close to a 4 or 6 pack...

The HEB by my house sells Sam Adams Double Bock singles for $1.75 or a 4pk for $9.

lol, thats dumb, but also not from wholesale... Sisyphus was typically sold in singles only previously. That is a choice that HEB made...

Great Lakes and Hoppin Frog are the standouts from Ohio. Also Jacki O's.
