Locals BIF Hints and Hauls

Just picked up the growler last night. Next i have to cross state lines to grab some beer that only gets distributed in that state to fulfill some of my targets wants. Should be shipping out on Monday. Crap i forgot to get a glass, looks like i'm headed back =)

 

Is it possible that he gets that beer from your brother at DLD?

 

Well my target does live in the same state as my bro, that might make it easy to get said beer to its rightful owner before DLD once I find it again.

 

to my target, you will be getting a very summery growler from Surly, and we have shared a beer together.

 

Unfortunately I was unable to obtain a growler of the barrel aged goodness I had hoped for as they weren't permitting growler fills. Instead my growler will be a hop monster from one of the newest breweries in TX. Finished my can/bottle shopping for my target yesterday, and will be including a few things from my cellar as well as some non locals that are on my target's wants list as extras.

If I were to hand deliver this package, it would take me about 20 hours to get there.

 

I think I have all my bottles chosen (I've got sweet, sour, bitter, and bourbony all represented), but I'm still bouncing around on the growler decision... I thought I had the perfect one in mind from a very new brewery, but they don't fill growlers of it.

 

Google tells me about 21:45 from you to me, but they seem to assume people drive the speed limit...

 

So I have to retract my last post. I was able to procure a growler of some barrel aged goodness, so looks like my target will be receiving two growlers. Texas hop monster and Texas barrel yummy. Make yourself a palate destroying black and tan. And I could not deliver this package to my target personally with a duck on my head.

 

There should be 2 more beers in there, and the autumn maple is actually Marron Acidife.
the palate wrecker is around now, so I'll get more headed that direction.

 

I crossed state lines to get something off my targets wants list. Now i just have to find time to go back and get a glass from where i got the growler. I'm hoping to get my box out Tuesday or Wednesday. Sorry for the delays.

Meant to ship today, but got massively hammered in the process of getting my target's second growler filled last night, so been nursing a hangover all day. Will ship tomorrow to a town 1160 miles from my own.

I'll be driving to a brewery within an hour from me to pick up my growler this afternoon, and I'll ship first thing Monday.

 

Yup it's Masala Mama, at least that's what i asked for...lol

just an FYI, i had an extra Abrasive sitting around that was canned end of Jan and the other was canned 2-13-12 i believe. I just tossed it in as i was packing and was already over the 88oz min and figured why not.

My box is going out monday to a ba whose zip code adds up to more than 18 and less than 25

 

It's nice when I get an early box in a BIF, because I can use the exact same packing materials to ship! The double-box I received has been loaded back up and is on its way to the state from whence it came.

 

I heard from the guy who works with me who also is a BA that his box will be shipping tomorrow to a guy who has been in several BIFS with him and actually been in a BIF that he has hosted.
