I think you are definitely out of luck for walking distance in that area. Earth Bread + Brewery, which is a nice brewpub, is still a 10-15 min drive.

No, look at the address he posted. He'll be in Oak Lane, nowhere near Center City.

 

There is nothing close to that area. It's a very residential area with not much in the way of bars/restaurants.

You are close to the broad street subway so you could be in center city quickly.
