I am taking the family camping in Lodi, WI in two weeks. I am looking for suggestions on a good liquor store to stock up on New Glarus. Any ideas?

It's like bottled water here... I don't have any specific suggestions for that area though.

Lodi isn't too far from Madison, so you could hit up Woodmans or Hyvee which will have mountains of New Glarus and all the new stuff too.

I grew up in that area. As above, almost everywhere sells it. Even the gas stations in town have New Glarus. The piggly Wiggly should have some but they don't have a huge beer section. Main street liquors is decent, but nothing super.

If you're looking for a really good variety, as mentioned above, hit up the Woodman's in Madison on the way. Not far off the interstate, cheap prices, tons of beer, plus good prices if you need food for camping.

More importantly, what the hell are you doing in Lodi of all places? There aint nothing there...

Woodman's will easily be the most cost effective choice. Easily $1.50-$2 less than most anywhere else per sixer, plus the 10% case discount if you go that route.

If possible, go direct to the source. The brewery is pretty amazing.

I have a 4 year old & 6 year old. I am definitely heading to Woodman's. We get their commercials here in Chicago area but I've never seen one of their stores. Plus their employee owned!

You're not too far from Tyranena & Lake Mills is a great little town for a family stop.

Also, if you're venturing up to the Dells at all you could probably find some Toppling Goliath.

You'll also be near Parfrey's Glen, a nice easy hiking spot with a really cool glen. Outside of Devil's Lake, so you don't have to put up with those crowds.

Ahh i see. I've never heard of that place, but it looks really nice. I guess I didn't realize that region was still considered Lodi. I lived west of town and didn't really spend much time in Lodi itself, so didn't venture over that way too much. Hope you enjoy your trip

For all the people saying Woodmans in Madison. The one in Sun Prairie will be closer.
