Log in issues

    I had this trouble a couple weeks ago; can't log in from the front page, but I can go to the forums list and log in.

    If I log in then to go to the front page, it shows I'm not logged in.

    If I click on one of the "new posts" in the front page list it takes me to the first page of the thread, not to the newest -- but shows I'm logged in.

    Also, the FP has the weird missing link icons where some graphics should be.

    This is happening on my Mac desktop and my Android phone. Anyone else seeing weirdness?

    Without more info, it sounds like a cookie or caching issue. First, ensure that your browser is accepting cookies. Second, I recommend logging out, clearing your cache, quitting your browser, restarting it, and then logging in again.

    Same issue here on IPad, Log in prompt would not respond. I restarted browser and was able to log in. Only happened today.

    Yes from the Home page ,if i went to forums and hit log in I was the able to sign in, it did show i was live on line.

    Same for me. Couldn't log in from homepage at one point today, but could log in on forum page... but I'm not currently having the issue. @Todd

    Just signed in and out from Home Page 2 times with no issues.

    Thanks, everyone. I'm not 100% sure what caused this for some and not others. Looks like there may have been an HTML compatibility issue with some browsers, so I applied a fix that could help.

    If it happens again, please let me know ASAP and try to screenshot it.

    until just now, when I clicked on the log in button all day today, nothing happened. however, I could select the sign-up button for a new account and then select the login button that appeared once the next screen appeared and it got me logged in. Now it is working normally. I'm using a PC running Microsoft Edge as a browser

    Odd. Nothing has changed on our end that could cause this, but I’ll keep on digging.

    To troubleshoot this further, please only reply with your operating system and browser versions.

    @Todd -- I'm currently running Firefox 78.11.Oesr on an iMac using OS X El Capitan (10.11.6) on my desktop.

    My Android 7.0 phone uses Chrome 90.0.4430.210.

    Hope that's helpful in some way.

    Got a new work laptop and I'm now experiencing the same issue on Chrome 91.0.4472.77. After I click the login button, I'm redirected to the sign up page.
    I'm able to log in on Safari, just not Chrome.
