Fair enough. I guess maybe I have a mistaken perception of what HF is. I'm still gonna try to get there if I'm ever anywhere near Vermont, just to see what it's all about. (Same goes for Ommegang in Cooperstown.) But I'll probably manage to make a trip to Logsdon first.

If anyone wants Cerasus it's turding up the shelves at Last Drop in Seattle.

Was there on Saturday. PnB was sold out.

Thanks for the advice everyone. What a great trip. Dave Logsdon and his staff couldn't have been nicer and more informative.

And let me tell you... You OR/ WA boys are spoiled. What a beautiful drive through the Gorge. Stopped at Multnomah Falls, Bonneville Dam, and the Cascade Locks on the way out. Just breathtaking!

Also stopped at Solera after Logsdon and they are churning out some delicious IPAs.

If you think that was nice, you should see the areas that don't have roads.

We did drive up a gravel road about 10 miles, and hiked a little to get a great view of Mt. Hood.

I also forgot to mention that at Solera, I picked up a to go bottle of The Commons Flemish Kiss. On the way out I was greeted by a fellow who kindly told me, "That's a great beer, I make that". After asking him if he was talking about the Pure Hoppiness shirt I had on (I've been to Alpine so many times that I know he didn't work there), He replied no, I'm Josh from The Commons.

It appears I have no sense of time. I guess that was a while ago that I picked one up (a couple of quick phone calls confirmed as much). Seems like only yesterday I spied that delicious brew on the shelf (turns out over a month). Sorry for the misinformation.

I forgot to mention that David told me the next batch of PnB should be dropping in December.

Oh, you're definitely from out of town. Any OR beer geek would've kept that to themselves  HAha

I don't know how feel about their beers (I'm a big fan, but I lived 3 hours from the place for 40 years, and have been drinking their beers since they opened), but you would love a visit to Ommegang. Beautiful location, great facility. I want to go back for Belgium Comes To Cooperstown, and camp there for the weekend.

I had an awesome time at Logsdon during my visit. The scenic drive from Portland to Hood River (stopped by Multnomah Falls) was worth the price of admission. Had a chance to talk to Dave and Seaberg during my visit. They are in the process of building a beer cave adjacent to the tasting area and should be finished within a year. They had no Cerasus or PnB available for consumption. Dave told me they should have around 400 cases of P&B for distro around Nov/Dec.

Second the Ommegang thumbs up. Great facility, great food and the Baseball Hall of Fame is ten minutes away. Going to be a staple on our visits to the inlaws.
