I found out last night that only 57 cases of Peche 'n Brett were produced, and only 30 were released for distribution. Not sure if that info is useful, but there you have it.

The BeerShop at cork is now sold out too.

Plenty of factors why this beer sold so fast, but do you think it would have gone so fast without the recent Fantasia hysteria?

I think once people a few people tried it, it wouldn't have mattered if Fantasia was ever brewed.

I've really liked everything they've done so far and I'm happy I managed to find bottles of this. I'm also really looking forward to their Flanders Red

From what I've heard, that beer (Cerasus) will be even more limited than Peche 'n Brett. So dust off your running shoes, everybody!

Finding rare beers is one of those few instances where my slight OCD is somewhat valuable...

At this point it seems a little unclear whether even a few people actually have tried it...

    Hey Folks,

I thought it was dynamite. Great peach flavor, is a very hazy pour, & the sourness isn't over powering. Nice beer all around & worth picking up. Worth $20 a bottle?? Yep.

    • I think the Fantasia release may have helped a little. 'Riding the coattails' of its popularity can only boost Logsdon's sales/demand...
    • I believe Logsdon is gaining more of a reputation as an 'upper-echelon' brewery, even though they've released very few beers yet. Remember, they've been producing for barely a year. Many beer lovers (locally and nationally) are just discovering them.
    • Add that a 10% ABV beer (PnB) priced about the same ($18-21) as a <6% beer (Fantasia) seems like a better value to some beer consumers.
    • Add that only about 30 cases were made available (initially) of PnB vs. almost 100 for Fantasia (and most of those were sold only at Upright's Tasting Room).
    • AND add last week's Gold Medal win (American Brett beer category) for the PnB at World Beer Cup and the fact that Logsdon recently 'defended the title' at last month's Cheers to Belgian Beers event for even more fuel to the fire.
    • Oh, and it's delicious. I opened one last night and was very happy with it!

I think it's all gone, at least in Portland. There is a chance there may be some somewhere in Hood River if you feel like driving or calling around.

Both Beaumont Market and Bottles said they didn't receive any, so whether they got a case late, I don't know. Would have expected them to get some as they are both listed as accounts on Logsdons website.

I've heard from a pretty reliable source that Logsdon is going to do some sort of event where the 27 cases that didn't make it to distro will be sold. Don't quote me on that, but there may still be hope!

Just spotted a bottle on the counter at Barrique Barrel. I left it there but asked if there was any more stashed away. Last one was the answer. For $21 and a disregard for traffic laws it's yours. Ready, set, go!

I am so ISO of this. Please start a conversation with me if you're willing to trade a bottle. Thanks!
