Long Island Bottle Share?

I would love to set up a bottle share group in Nassau, preferably on/near the south shore. Where on the Island are you? I could always hop on a train and I've got plenty of beers cellared away. I should also have some Wicked Weed sours coming next weekend when my cousin returns from NC.

 

I'd be interested in a local bottle share as well..I'm in northern queens, but getting to any part of Nassau or western Suffolk won't be a problem

 

I would love to get involved in something like this. I'm in Huntington & have a bunch that I've been dying to crack open. Been talking to friends about trying to get a regular thing going. I could even host. (I'm 4 minutes from the train station)

 

In Queens, tonight is Finback monthly bottle share in their tap room at 7pm.

 

Has anyone been to one yet?

 

It's only their second one. Like all new bottle shares, they start small and grow with word of mouth. Lots of bottles at last one. Their tap room is huge and can handle any size bottle share. Can bring in or order food from outside. They have all the local menus. Good way to check out their space before Queens Beer Week.

 

Oh, I have been to the tap room plenty of times. Just curious to know how the previous one went. Anyone from BA thinking of coming tonight?

I'm on the south shore in Nassau, and have been looking to do a share.

 

I could always host one if there isnt a neutral place to have one. I have a big yard and live 1000 feet from the beach. Also have a large basement to accomodate if there is shitty weather.

I live a short walk/cab ride from The LIRR station.

 

if its in long beach im in...i dont go over any bridges unnecessarily once we break 65d.

 

I would also be down to get involved in one. Long beach could be a nice spot especially if its close to train.

Yea I live in Long Beach and live 5 blocks from the LIRR to the east. If its nice out its a quick 10 minute walk. If not, its a $4 cab drive and takes about 4 mins.

Plus if it is really nice out, my yard can accommodate plenty of people. I also of a set of bocci balls and croquet (don't ask; graduation gift a few years back. I still dont understand the rules). The beach is only a short 1 min walk. I can set something up for June if we can get some people. Could either do it Friday after work (I work in Melville and usually get home around 530-6) or on Saturday during the day.

Awesome offer! I'd host one but I live in a shoebox. I'd be totally down to attend if this gets off the ground.
