LONG ISLAND: Parabola 2014

    Missed this one last year (probably because of the joke that was our allotment on Long Island) and really don't want to miss it again. Please post here if you see/hear anything. I'd imagine by early April it should have come and gone.

    I think it would be helpful to ask a store owner on the Island what the deal is this year.

    Last year, it was absurd. Something like 2(?) cases made it to the entire Island.

    I agree with asking a store about it... we got Velvet Merkin reaaaaaaaly late and sucaba as well.. I didnt even get a chance to buy em. I went away the day they got em. Guy said they had 6 and was gone in an hour or two. I just trade for them with a trade partner I have in CA and hell throw it in a box with other stuff.. its usually a few dollars cheaper (the parabola that is) but then you factor in Shipping... so all in all I dont have to deal with the headache of going around like a mad man looking for it.

    Haven't seen it yet on western LI. Asked my local store owner and he said it "should" be in within the next two weeks, but he's not exactly sure how much is going to come around. Didn't even see any Velvet Merkin here.

    Did find a few bottles of Sucuba though.

    Also got lucky with a sucaba but my normal spot got like 6 bottles of merkin. We generally get shafted on any releases and that's if they even make it for sale.

    Sucaba is still kicking around in Brooklyn, and if you're willing to overpay ($25/bottle), Merkin too.

    Yeah I guess so. I haven't even seen it out in the wild. A buddy grabbed one for in in Brooklyn.

    sucaba came and went this year. i think LI got something stupid like less than 10 cases...but not sure. i somehow managed to get a bottle
