Not hitting airshow, just checking on traffic coming through Queens and 495 in the am.

Usually hit up Beverage Barn on Front Street as it close to the house. Are there better options within 5 mile radius?

 

Depends on whether or not you're looking for something specific, looking for growler fills, etc. Hicksville Beer and Soda is much more diligent about updating beermenus, so you'll have a better idea of what they have.

If you're into IPA's, I'd travel a little further (~15 min) and go to Syosset Beverage. They just tapped Sand City Fade to Jade for growler fills, and it's far better than anything you'll find on the shelves at the other places IMO.

 

The Von Trapp stuff might be available in Westchester- maybe give a few DeCiccos a call if you will be driving by.

Fwiw, Cable Beverages in Rockland County posted about getting mixed12 packs last week.

 

Von Trapp only available in NYC right now. If u want to make a side trip, Beverage Plus in Floral Park has Von Trapp stuff. Traffic should t be too crazy to get to East Meadow.
