Long Live's imperial stouts and fruited Berliners are basically an automatic purchase for me as well. Found a can of Small Joys from last summer in my stash recently, can't wait to crack because that was the best coconut stout I've ever had. But yes, as far as lagers it is pretty much Buttonwoods or bust for my most local spots.

It is currently a very small brewery, growler sales only and only open for pours about one Saturday a month, but Rustic outside of Springfield MA has some great stuff including a coffee and coconut stout called CoffeeNutt.
If you can find a way to get it without bending over backwards, I highly recommend it. It is probably the best coconut stout I have ever had although I missed Small Joys. I have had Human Condition from Tree House though.
Hopefully Rustic can weather this storm. They are small and seem to be building the brewery the old way with what looks like very little capital but just making good beer and using the profits to get better and get their beer to more people. I feel like they were on the verge of breaking out before this fiasco.

Praying for you. I don’t have the guts to chance it, even though that’s one of my favorites. Please let us know how it goes....

Unfortunately, I was only joking. Not necessarily because of the police but because I live pretty far away. Though, it would double suck if I drove all that way and then got turned away at the border.

2 of the 7 Facebook comments on the All Seeing Eye release post are asking about shipping out of state. Are people nuts or just desperate? What would they be shipping? They already sold out of last week's release. I wish I had Facebook sometimes just to blast rude people like this.

That is pretty ridiculous. It’s not like they’ll never brew it again. They brew it every couple of months. It’s OK to wait - it’s just beer.

I’ll be up here in MA holding my hand up to the window and staring longingly into this Covid world with a tear rolling down my cheek...

The apple brandy barrel barrel seems a bit out of place but I'm not a brewer and initial reviews say it is an absolute home run.

It looks like they released another banger this week. Heart of a Champion is getting rave reviews.

I picked up a few 4-packs this week and it is excellent. With no tastings I was debating whether to get multiple 4-packs, but who am I kidding sight unseen LLB is a must purchase in large quantities. My dorm fridge is all that prevents me from going close to case purchases with their releases lol.

You're so lucky. I am stuck drinking disgusting Tree House.

Would love to make a trip at noon this Friday. I’m not familiar with the area - is it easy to navigate and get in/out? Quick process at the pickup window?

Absolutely ridiculous DIPA haul right now!

I haven't been since the shutdown so this is just general info about the geography.
The streets are tight. I would definitely look at a satellite image. If you are using Google maps, that lot full of weirdly parked white cars has been redone and is now an actual parking lot. I don't know if it is exclusively for Long Live but I know you can use it. Having said that, it is a busy beer weekend for every brewery and I believe Long Live is open for outside pours. They are also closed this Saturday. It could be busy but it also seems like their stuff has been lasting a bit longer lately so who knows?

    Good luck!

I guess I'll take a few 4paks for my troubles.

LLB is kind of inside an "up and coming" neighborhood (to put it kindly). But their whole mill complex is almost built out with the parking lots more or less complete, although when the taproom was open I usually had to park in roadside areas during peak areas. The outdoor reservations are one per 1 1/2 hours for only 4-6 tables I believe, so without much turnover parking should not be too difficult.

You can also check the box for curbside pickup if you don't want to walk over to the window. But in all honesty I go there every week and have only waited in line a couple of times. YMMV based on the popularity of beer pickups for this holiday of course.

I'll be heading down on Sunday, very excited to try the DDH Heart of a Champ. Hope it lasts. I'm optimistic since Black Cat Sees All is still around.

I'll say it til I'm blue in the face. Long Live still doesn't get enough love

I went Monday for pickup and it couldn’t have been easier. Ordered online, drove through the ungentrified neighborhood to get there, and pulled right up to their garage. Called the brewery and they delivered cans to my car within 3 minutes. Seriously couldn’t have been easier.

And 4 different DIPAs in cans?! Yes please!

Shut your dirty mouth! Seriously though, they just dropped 2 more cans for pickup starting today: an IPA and a dark lager. I needed a DDH Champion last night but may have made my pickup too early this week!
