Long time lurker 1000th review input!

    Hi all!

    I have been a member here since turning 21 back in 2007. Since then, I have been all over the world - 80 countries and counting! I've been a Peace Corps volunteer, Teach for America member, and I currently work as an international teacher. I've lived in Shanghai, Thailand, Kuwait, Rwanda, and now Saudi. I've rated lots of beers everywhere I've been - it's one of my favorite hobbies. I usually do reviews and ratings everywhere I go, including trying to add beers from diverse areas of the globe.

    I currently have 999 reviews and I'm looking for something special for review #1000 while in the States this summer. I'll be in the northwest Indiana/Chicagoland area. What might be a special 1000th review that is pretty well available here?

    Thanks for the input - looking forward to your suggestions!

    Welcome to the forums, @BucBasil. I looked at your list of beers that you have rated/reviewed, and I see that you haven't had Daisy Cutter from Half Acre Brewing. That one's a longtime classic that is easy to get and you'll surely enjoy.

    Cool history. Thanks for populating the site from the remote reaches.

    Not sure what might be a good 1000th, but any beer is a worthy choice.

    If you enjoy Barrel Aged Beers, then something from Revolution Brewing would be a great Chicagoland choice. Lots of good options in this area.
