hey everyone, I thought it was about time to post a hello and connect to my fellow drunks. I've been seriously drinking and collecting craft brews for the past three years, although I've always been an avid beer drinker. My interest in beer pretty much blossomed in college, like many of you I'm sure, and I quickly discovered "different" beers in my latter years of college. I grew up and still live in Massachusetts so much of my 20's was spent in the many excellent bars we have in and around Boston. Now in my mid thirties, married with two kids, my time in the bars has slimmed just a wee bit. A few years ago, my wife bought me a beer of the month subscription and she continued to renew it for me as each new holiday rounded the corner and she needed to get me something I'd like for a present! Anyway, now I have a true beer obsession with all craft beers from around the world. So I just wanted to say hello and I plan to contribute to the group when I have anything to contribute
Welcome aboard! There's lots of good stuff here on BA, poke around. I think we need to give an initiation chore. That chore is to expose a friend to craft beer and get them to join BA as well. Have fun and Cheers!
Thanks for the warm welcome, I'm always trying to introduce people to craft brews whenever we have guests. I'll usually split my beer coolers at my parties, half with normal crap and then I always mix in some cool stuff for the adventurous folks!
