Like the white blaze that guides hikers on the Long Trail, Green Blaze IPA guides drinkers through a flavorful forest of fruity, pine and resin hop notes. We put this Blaze Box together as an off-the-beaten path journey of Green Blaze’s hoppy trail. Inspired by Green Blaze’s multitude of hop flavors; enjoy the juicy notes of Grapefruit Blaze, the tropical trail of Citra Blaze and the spruce tip tastes of Evergreen Blaze.

Whatever trail you choose, make sure it’s a Long Trail.

Green Blaze – Guide yourself through the lupulin landscape of pine, resin and tropical fruit hops in this trail-worthy IPA.

Evergreen Blaze – Spruce tips deliver an additional piney punch to the already resinous profile of Green Blaze IPA.

Grapefruit Blaze – Infused with grapefruit flavors for an added juicy journey through Green Blaze’s hoppy landscape.

Citra Blaze – A solo mission featuring the biscuity malt base of Green Blaze IPA; single-hopped with Citra.

Green Blaze IPA is really solid, so I will pick up one of these variety packs for sure.

i might grab this. green blaze and a few other long trail releases over the past few years were responsible for my re-evaluation of this brewery. I used to write them off, but hey, things change.

I wonder how the spruce tip one will be. I really liked dogfishhead's spruce tip beer.

Normally I avoid all-IPA variety packs since my taste buds are weird when it comes to certain hop flavors and the "tropical" ones especially have a bad habit of magically transforming into a strong spicy/herbal/onion sort of thing instead (sometimes even between taking my first sniff of a beer and taking the first sip, other times between the first and second bottle... but it tends to happen at some point.) I mean, spicy/herbal/onion hop flavors are not necessarily a bad thing (I've really liked them in some beers), but it's disappointing to get them when the beer is not really supposed to have them and I'm expecting something completely different.

But a pack of IPAs described as being mostly in the pine/grapefruit range... hmm, that might actually work out pretty well. Those sorts of hop flavors always seem to come across "right" to my taste buds even when others don't. If I'm in a piney/grapefruity IPA mood and see one of these around I might pick one up. Never had a spruce-tip beer before, either (and I really like how spruce smells, so who knows, maybe it'd be good in beer too?)

Very similar with me as well.

I purchased this in December. Wanted to like it. Did not like it. There are so many better beers next to it on the shelf at the supermarket.
