I had no idea Long Trail was jumping on the Gose bandwagon but here it is available. My opinion is mixed. You seem to have to really like the style in order to say its good or great. It doesnt help that it looks more like cranberry ginger ale than a beer.

I did see that; but LT is pretty dead to me at this point with all the changes they have made over the past few years.

That being said, can you pick up the cranberry notes?

Well they seemed to be going more hop forward which is why I was surprised to see this. No to mention they already have a summer seasonal so maybe this is year round ? Yes I pick up cranberry notes but its pretty faint and I used a wide mouth glass. I dont hate the beer, its fine but I fail to see how this style will catch on like IPA's have.

This is a new year round beer. It exceeded my expectations. Nice level of tartness, saltiness, and cranberry notes, pink in color. Will be buying lots of this.

Not a big surprise that they or any brewery is picking up on the gose wagon. Ingredient wise it is very cheap to brew and lower fermentation time too - big money/resource reasons, plus its a trendy play. Just wonder how long before it goes the way of the white IPA and black IPA.

Lower fermentation time will depend a lot on their souring method, but my guess is most breweries are souring the quicker way...
