Anyone else decide to pick this up to have on Christmas eve/day/night ? I am a Long Trail supporter and I liked their old Imperial Porter so picking it up was a no brainer.
Have a bottle waiting for later tonight/tomorrow night. Had a few pours at the GIBF in Providence back in Novermber, it was one of the best beers I sampled that day, my buddies loved it too. Super smooth stuff.
I saw it today. I should have picked it up and we could all drink it on xmas day and be internet beer BFFs, and maybe get a little weird with it. I'm kidding, but I did pick one up, but don't know when I'm going to drink it. Beer is outweighing food in my fridge right now and my wife (for the first time ever) mentioned it so I have to drink it soon.
Had a botttle of culmination the other day, It was good, thick mouthfeel and a good chocolate flavor, although more bitter than I had figured it would be. I might buy another bottler.
I picked up a bottle after having it at a tasting. Now its just waiting for me in the fridge. A really solid porter.
Just tried it at the LT tasting demo at Beer Cellar in Waterbury. Darn tasty! Regret having to point out to the rep that the tag on each bottle has a glaring typo, though - the old "pallet" instead of "palate" screw-up. Collectors item?
