It's citrus and pine the citrus is dank I am guessing Galaxy the pine seems like something out of Yakima, WA. It is one of the best beers they have ever put out but it is not comparable to the industry leaders at all.

It seems like they tried to experiment too much.

The format is 6-packs which I've seen running around $13 in the Burlington area. The best Long Trail I've had to date.

Got a 6-pack for $10. Great value for a very good beer. Best offering from Long Trail that I've had. Nice label design, too.

For anyone who has tried both, how does it compare to the LT Double IPA they made for their Brewmaster series?

I would like to try the old Ballentine IPA and see how it held up after 25 years.

The limbo is remarkably good in my opinion. There general IPA is pretty good at that price point and alcohol content. Unfiltered too, I believe. I'm having the Culmination and it's a bit to dark chocolate bitter for me to really enjoy, but it's good and strong.

Its a good strong Ipa for the price. I myself do taste a vegetale quality. Not always bad, depending on mood.
Worth a try as it is long trails most aggressive offering.

I tried it last week in a sales meeting. I think it is one of the best beers they have ever done (I loved the triple bag and they stopped making it). They are also coming out with a new porter early 2014. I am very happy they are getting back in the game. I thought they got pretty complacent as a brewery for a while.

Had it on tap at Stars in Hingham, MA last night...
fantastic. After having Double Dose there last week I do have to say there are some similarities.

Wanted to like it, but didn't love it. The nose was promising, but I felt like it had a weird aftertaste.
