real shocker that the OP of a thread such as this only posted once in it.

 

a picture is worth a thousand words, that review showed what...32 words? laziness and summarization comes at a cost. with 32 words, i'm sure i can give a description of many things that could fit awesomeness just as easily as it could fit swag. what's your point here?

i love the ba reviews and it's a super valuable resource.

but if we are going to nitpick here's my complaint: people being too stingy with their ratings, as if "the perfect beer" is just some sorta myth. 3+ paragraphs about how great a beer is and then the rating is like 4.1. it's ok to think that a beer is perfect...and it's ok to think of 20 or so other beers as perfect.

 

On the flip side, though, is a 4.1 review for a highly rated beer going to hurt the consensus that a beer is world class? Also, I would like to say that Charlie looks rather 'stressed' in you avatar. Fiber?

I can't even think of 5 beers that have nothing to improve on. It is not okay to lower our standards for beer, especially with so many contenders entering the market.

 

I think we can all relate to that...

 

How dare someone on here post a review that isn't up to your standards. Don't worry, I'll BM you all my reviews for editing and final approval before I post them.

 

Damn, I hope nobody finds something so offensive in one of my reviews that they scrutinize it on the forums. I didn't realize the reviews were peer reviewed journals open for discussion. This post has to be my least favorite one I have ever read and totally goes against the spirit of the site as a whole.
