Since joining BA in early 2013, I didn't really get into trading until early 2014. It took me a few trades to learn the ropes but thankfully some very cool (and patient!) folks showed me the ropes. I instantly loved trading, sampling beers from across the country and also interacting with some great BA's. I did about 75-85 trades last year, shipping out my last two yesterday. Seeing the posts about bad traders, refilled bottles and UPS/FedEx destroying boxes certainly does make me more cautious however this is a great community. Sure, there are always going to be the jags who pull stuff like this but the good ones far out number the bad...all you have to do is see one of these bad trader posts and looks at all the folks who want to make the OP right. I've come across some incredibly generous traders, either sending a box for Christmas, for my son's upcoming birth, or just for the hell of it, that have shown me that beer is meant to be shared. People who hoard/sell/auction beer truly suck and thankfully have no place on this board. I hope everyone has a very happy new year and I will certainly do all I can to continue to pay forward the generosity that has been shown to me. Cheers!
