I would like to make something along the lines of FFF Alpha Klaus- my favorite spiced porter for the holidays. Any suggestions for such recipe would be appreciated!

I'm surprised that no one has suggested a clone recipe for Alpha Klaus. If there is none then you're going to have to be the trailblazer and brew your favorite Porter and guess at the spices.

I brewed a Brown Ale a number of years ago and added spices that I found in another recipe. (I don't recall if it was a clone of anything.) If you want me to dig into my records to see what those spices were so that you can add something to your Porter recipe that is known to be a good combination, then I'll be happy to do so.

Well I didn't read that recipe's name very closely......it's for Alpha King, not Alpha Klaus.
