Hey everyone...my wife has been after to try and re-create a Lavender beer she had last year. Does anyone have or know where i can find a recipe? I have only done extract kits to this point, but if I need to, this might drive me to have to get all the equipment for all grain brewing as well.....darn!

    Thanks

Do you remember what the base beer was? That's a good jumping off point.

I made a lavender beer once. I think it was something like 2g at 10 minutes and it was plenty of flavor.

I have no idea. She had it once a year ago right before all hell broke loose. It may have been a saison or lager....nothing too heavy because she wouldn't have liked it if it was.

What style did you brew to make yours?

    It was a saison.

Maybe a good starting point would be the saison recipe in Brewing Classic Styles with a small addition of lavender at the end and then adjust in future batches?
