    Here's some advice that may be too late... Check the dates on anything you buy, especially bottles and cans from the singles/make your own six pack section. Drink (reasonably) fresh beer.

    Try Cigar city brewing - Jai alai and guayabera . And Rome City IPA by Brew Hub.

    I need to re-up my Lag16 stash.

    As for OP, I agree with the masses that Cigar City is the answer to start out in Tampa. Good luck with the new hobby.

    Thanks everyone for all the replies! Ive decided to start with Cigar City and go from there to find different beer styles that I like!
