    Mediterranean IPA's were created in the mid-19th century when a much despised captain of a British cargo ship full of India Pale Ale was delayed (dock strike) and so decided to take a shortcut to India and got stuck off the coast of Egypt as the crew all smirked:
    "Ah, sh*t! None of you smartass jack-tars knew they haven't finished this damn Suez Canal yet?!"

    I never said it was a swing-top 100%, HouseofWorship:grinning:

    Troy-Hawai, yes, I am not sure it is this one either. This time did not taste so good, don't know.

    Nevertheless, I am happy I found out that there are so many different beers and I found the IPA one ;d We will see, I am sure there are so many great ones that I haven't tasted yet.

    Yeah, it’s like posting a picture of an elephant and asking for help identifying it because you don’t remember what you saw 100% and then remembering it was a blue whale…

    I’m impressed that there’s a modern IPA using Willamette and printing it on the label! love that hop, but it doesn’t get much publicity these days. I hear that it often gets confused with the guy from the Black Eyed Peas.
