Victory at Sea is more 'stout' than a lot of 'stouts' I've had. Don't let the 'porter' style fool you OP.

That's not something that I'm familiar with, unfortunately.

It's better than FBS and only very slightly beneath KBS IMO.

To the Wisconsinites: what is an easily available BA Vanilla stout in our beautiful state? The only vanilla stout that comes to my mind is Dark Lord which is never sold in WI right?

I've wondered a few times to others why very few brewers seem to mess around with mint. Is it complicated to work with? The only few mint stouts I'm aware of are from Lakeshore in WI, Bootlegger's, GI but a super special release or something and the new one from Ska which I'm currently trying to locate.

    Edit: Forgot the Stone collab....

Einer's Folly from the Bruery. I have one that's possibly for trade.

It's not as crazy as you might think. It's not "IT", but it's a cheap and neat experiment to try with the right beer.

It's not sold anywhere besides the brewery on Dark Lord Day.

Am I off in thinking that Dragon's Milk fits this? Not the exact specifications of OP, but barrel aged for certain with a good amount of vanilla flavor.

Not in the FL distribution, but very easy to find elsewhere. Easy for a trade I'm sure as my local shop always has some
