Looking for BAs with a Bad Trade Experience with YoniWolf

    So, I've done my griping about getting ripped off my YoniWolf. Enough of that.

    I was contacted by oldp0rt on BA today today and introduced to a bad trader list and encouraged to submit a Bad Trader listing. In order for my story to have some additional credibility, I was asked to list any other traders who might have run into issues with Yoniwolf.

    I had no idea this list even existed. Thank you (and oldp0rt) for taking the trouble to share this information. The BA community really is a wonderful site frequented by great people that share a common passion. I love the feeling of camaraderie that exists among the ``regulars'' on this site.

    I looked at his profile and it looks like he just joined. Did he have any trade history/references?

    I saw the DL tickets but what were the bottles?

    He had a ton of good trade history on Reddit, former traders were even jumped into the conversation to defend him after it was obvious his trades went going through. One person told be he was in the hospital, although the texts i recived from the trader sid it was all work related. I did some diligence, but everything started to crumble almost immediately following shipping out. CBS, KBS, and a ton of locals and extras. Almost four weeks later, I'm sitting home of DLD mad as hell!

    Sadly, one of the reasons people get burned on BA is because no one wants to rock the boat.

    People that have trades with them going south want to hold out hope rather than call a spade a spade, and locals that may know them, are in a tasting group with them, or at least could talk to them do not want to get involved.

    It happens all the time.

    I posted a thread with all the details yesterday, but got spanked because I posted in the wrong area and posted some publically available ways to reach him (Twitter, Instagram, Untappd, Rate Beer, etc). Fact is, the story is as important as the outcome and the number of people who have been impacted. Interestingly, he was banned Reddit for bad trades well before he got too much press on BA.

    Sidebar - Not really sure how a trader can give someone their address and phone number and not expect a bad trade to come back to them somehow. Baffles me!

    Yep, everyone wants to complain about thread shitting and hurting people's feelings over the internet, but for some reason getting ripped off for actual $ and beer does not illicit the same feelings.

    It sucks, but that is the way it is.

    Just curious. Who told you that you'd posted your first time in the wrong area? Seems to me that the trading forum is exactly the place to be airing this, not the general forum populated by many people who are not engaged in trading. Thanks.

    Probably not the case with this guy -- after checking his twitter feed and other links that I saw in previous (deleted) threads, I'm not entirely convinced that he's even legal. He and the people in his pics look like they're 15, and the person he talks to the most on twitter is a high school sophomore.

    I've got him and his wife pegged at 26. His Instagram pics look a lot more up o date than some of his Twitter stuff.

    One of the BA Founders set me straight. The trading forum is for beer for beer transactions. I was supposed to get tickets in my trade, so it fell outside of trading Guidlines. I also posted a survey that he said wasn't relavant along with a lot of public, although personal, info. Got dinged for three violations, which I can accept. Wrong forum, wrong content... so be it. This thread is up and running, and I am appreciative to have this soapbox.

    Not the CBS!

    Hopefully it turns out well. It just sucks with a new BA account he doesn't lose a lot by closing it down and starting a new one.

    Yeah, big loss. Word is he got ahold of some Beatification as well. Search for his Untapp'd account on Google sometime. The guy drinks good stuff!

    Ditto, I appreciate the bad trader list. Unfortunately, I've had to use it as well, involving a trade to Canada to top it off. There's nothing to stop these same d-bags (douche-bags, not to be confused with my avatar) from starting another account and just repeating the process. I'm sure the guy who ripped me off is already back on BA under another name and there's nothing I can do about it except not trade with Canada again.
