I want to play around with a 2.5 gallon batch.

I want to make a chocolate coffee stout with habeneros and bourbon chips at some point

Does anyone have a good base recipe that they think i would be interested in?

    Thanks a ton
    Cheers

    Pooh-Bah

    10 lb Maris otter
.5 lb of roast barley, black patent, dark chocolate, L60,
    1 lb Munich L10
    1 lb Munich dark
1.5 oz of goldings or fuggles at 60 and 30
That's half of my usual recipe and I get few complaints

I like Maris Otter as base malt.
About 15% of grain should be dark malts (combo of roasted barley, chocolate, black malts).
    7-8% British crystal malt.
    10-15% flaked oats.
This is how I like my stouts, but everybody has different tastes. Good luck!
