Hi, I live in Texas and I have to go to Wichita Kansas for work for about a month looking for good beer bars, breweries and what good beers i can find here. Any suggestions will help even if they are not in Wichita (Am willing to drive). Thank you for yalls help and Cheers

Free State does some good stuff. I presume Tallgrass is in TX, but could be wrong. Been a few months since I've been up there. But Hoppin Frog always comes to mind. I always leave Goebbels with a $100+ of beer. You may want to shop around if you have time. Goebbels has the best selection, but also the priciest.
Nope tall grass is not in Texas or at least not in South Texas... Yeah and I've been hearing a lot about them hoppin frog heard its probably the best beers in the area... Thanks for the heads up and if anything else comes to mind let me know
Goebels is the best store in town. Hands down. Wednesday is 15% off, a real help with the state's distribution setup. For brewpubs Wichita Brewing & pizzeria is great, shown by its crowds. Best to go in the afternoon. Another is River City in Old Town, but the food isn't that great. A great bar is The Anchor, has dang near everything on tap. The food is top-notch, too. It's in old town, too. According to seekabrew.com the following beers are available here that are worth getting. Boulder, Fort Collins, Free State, Grand Teton, Hoppin Frog, Marshall, Schlafly, Stillwater and Tallgrass. I haven't made it to Hank's in Cheney, but am told it's worth trip, I'm concerned about the drive home. hankiswiserbrewery.com The days and hours are limited.
I just always pick up a bunch of cheap Bomb! and other Prairie stuff since it's so cheap in KS. Also whatever BA Avery stuff is floating around too.
How many times I have bought beer & never manage be there on a Wednesday? Every time, I had heard about it, my timing is not good. I love Grand Teton & Schlaflys ( I thought they were in TX )...
