Looking for Big Gruesome

bottles are only 22oz. ive seen cases as low as 50 for 12 big gruesomes, but that was back in the spring. if you had to buy them individually from spring house, i think they charge $9 a bottle.

 

Kap is right about the prices. I'm not sure exactly how much I paid for my case, but beer mart in reading had several cases last time I was there. I can check when I stop there again and see if they still have any and for how much. Your buddy might need to call a distributor and see if they can hold a case for him. I saw a few cases at shangys a while back but haven't seen any there since.

 

good old beer mart, who refuses to get in any cool limited releases ever since they got CBS...

 

I went on Spring House's website and they have a list of wholesale distributors. I found the one closest to my friend's area and called them. They gave me 3 or 4 numbers of the closest retail distributors nearest my friend and called them. Long story short, I was able to place an order for 1 case of 22oz and it should be arriving next week for $78. I'm not sure if I'm getting ripped off here, but the way I look at it, that's only $6.50 per bottle and I'd gladly pay that in a bottle shop because I like it so much and I can't get it in my neck of the woods. The hardest part will be waiting for it to arrive at Christmas on my doorstep. haha. thanks guys.

Yeah, $78 is a fair price. My local distro sells cases at $76.99 according to their website

 

Beer Mart had it for $56.99 plus tax, but $78 isn't that bad on a per bottle cost.

Haha, Did they have a bad experience with that?

Someone there told me they were getting satan's bake sale in soon and if it's the same price as big gruesome, I'll forgive them for not having more limited releases.

 

i just want them to have BCBS sometimes, or founders backstage, etc

 

I was able to get some Big Gruesome in a tiny hole in the wall bar 20 mins north of Harrisburg. Really good stuff. Not sure how this bar had that, DirtWolf, FBS and other great beers on tap, but they did.

 

I asked this year and they said they may get a few cases but it will all go to the bars in the area.

 

yeah i called yesterday and they said it was gone in minutes.
