I do realize it's a bit before the season but I'm trying to make some connections now and get it on peoples minds ahead of time. And there are actually pumpkins coming out now here in the states!

No pumpkins this time a year in this part of the world but I did see a fresh pumpkin beer from NZ on the shelf not long ago.

We have like 10000000 pumpkin beers in Vancouver starting September.

I wish I could help, but Quebec sucks horribly for pumpkin beers. All I know is La Magouille (which I found AWFUL) and the St. Ambroise one, which is ok but not great. Sadness :slight_frown:

BC is the place although more quantity over quality IMHO

Ok, noted, you clearly dislike pumpkin spice beer. One might wonder why you simply didn't pass over a posting about pumpkin beer as you dislike it so...

Haven't tried that one but I agree that most tend to be disappointing. I tell myself each year not to bother but I still do anyways...

I've still got about 4 from last year if you've really got a pumpkin itch.

They're probably not very good but they are in fact pumpkin beers.

I know, they always sound so good.... I really liked the Howe Sound PumpkinEater last year. The one that always seems to be really popular that I just can't get into is the Southern Tier PumKing, just way to sweet and spicy for me.

Maybe this year, I will go for all the pumpkin releases and buy Belgian Quads instead....

PumpkinEater! That was the other one I really liked from last year too. We did a whole line-up for Halloween and those were the only two I liked...

It's funny how that works. We went thru a bunch of bottles last fall also with only a couple of winners...and yet we'll probably do it every year  ! The only other one I actively look out for is DFH Punk.

If your in MO and have access to Schlafly and Pumking I would have to say your pumpkin beer situation is about as good as it gets anyway, no need to look further.

I do have plenty of Schlafly and can get pumpking and there are other great pumpkin beers in state but beer is like women everyonce in awhile you get the itch to try a foreign one!
    Prost.
