Hey there. A friend pointed me in this direction and suggested I asked you all for bottles! I have a small business in Sonoma County California, and make candles from cut and sanded beer and wine bottles.
We can only drink so much, so I am reaching out for help.

We are mainly interested in bomber sized bottles. I am also close to Russian River Brewery, but would love more of those beer bottles too. I would be willing to meet up with anyone locally. For anyone elsewhere, I could trade candles..?

Please let me know any feedback... Would much appreciate it.
    Thanks for looking

Hey Plum, welcome to BeerAdvocate! Pretty cool idea/product you've got there. I would recommend seeking out silkscreened bombers, as they would be washable and more durable. Stone obviously has tons, though I have heard that their bottles are particularly difficult to cut. There are a lot of breweries that silkscreen their bottles these days (Rogue, Belching Beaver, Mother Earth, Left Coast, Surf, AleSmith, Saint Archer, Ironfire, and Barrelhouse, to name a few CA ones off the top of my head). Good luck with your search!

Maybe you could put this in the ISO:FT local forum? I would think there are lots of locals that have a zillion empty bottles out by the trash that they would let you have for a beer or two?

I have maybe 200-300 empty bottles sitting around, maybe 45-60 bombers, 40-50 750ml, and the rest are varying sizes from 375ml, to 12oz. If you want to pay for a shipping label, and reimburse me some way for the packing materials they are yours. Just Pm me
