I'd love to get a bottle of the '12 Hunahpu. I have a nice cellar (its linked in my profile) but I'm hesitant to move a lot of my 'bigger' stuff like Rare and Black Note since I only have 1 of each.

Would 375's of Cantillon (Rose de Gambrinus, Kriek, and/or Classic Gueze) get it done? I also have a 750 of Bruocsella. I'd look to trade a combination of these.

Has anyone landed a Hunahpu? What has it taken?

    Thanks!

Short answer is 'maybe'. Nobody ever wants to give up their best bottles, but fact is, sometimes you need to give up something good to get something good. That said, it certainly won't take Rare or Black Note.

At quick glance your cellar has a lot of "off the shelf" stuff, which usually isn't enough to land limited release brewery only bottles. One of those Eclipses might do it - but basically you're probably going to have to dip into your 'no' trade column to land Hunahpu's.

Give the Cantillon a shot though - never hurts...

Appreciate the response - that was sort of my thinking. Honestly, I'll move things that are listed as no - just trying to ward off tons of offers for Black note, King Henry, etc. I may put a feeler out there, although I do figure tons of folks are looking for Hunahpu today...

Perhaps I should just wait until East End releases this year's Gratitude.

Not to start this whole debate again, but King Henry for Hunahpu's is a pretty darn reasonable trade for both sides IMO.

Regardless, your point is valid, and that's why I don't list my cellar. (aside from the fact that my cellar is a giant mess and I have no official inventory of it) People will consistently gravitate towards the rarest things on the list no matter how accessible the beer I'm trying to trade for is.
