Looking for Freshness Dates

    Hey guys,

    Anybody know if the following use best before or bottling dates? I've tried to contact them but got no response. Appreciate it :slight_smile:

    vine park just does growlers, I would assume there is a date on the cap.

    Just checked bottles of Steel Toe and Flat Earth and could not see any dates or codes on either.

    Third Street - No codes or dates
    Steel Toe - No codes or dates
    Staple Mills - Closed--don't have to worry about them anymore
    Flat Earth - No codes or dates
    Great River - No codes or dates
    Boom Island - No codes or dates
    Lucid - Code stamped on label (Pkg2456451) Not sure how to read that?

    Nothing i can recognize for Lucid. Trying reaching them but no response. Oh well, no freshness info it is i guess...

    (Pkg2456451) is a Julian date...convert 2456451 from Julian to Gregorian calendar. That would be the package date.

    I am used to seeing Julian dates on beers like this: 07113 (Mar. 12, 2013) within the year.

    The arrangement of numbers means nothing unless you have that website handy (secret decoder ring?). They might as well put nothing on their packaging IMO.

    Interesting! Not familiar with that form of Julian either. (almost 2.5 million days from the start date of the calender, weird...)
