Yeah, I hear you there. I assume your stores don't put it on shelves? I went to a store just outside of Farmington last month and, as you said, I think it was a 4-can limit.

Does anyone know of any places in Putnam or Thompson that get Gandhi bot? I'll be swinging through on Saturday and I'm hoping somewhere will have it.

Thanks! Just bought the last 4-pack here. It's near my office, but I never would have ventured to this spot without the tip.

On the negative side I was just at Stew Leonard's wine shop in Norwalk and there was dust on pretty much everything. They had founders IPA bottled in 2012! A ton of overpriced bombers from last year, etc. I would have figured that they had pretty good turn-over like the grocery store, but I guess no one goes for the beer. The shelves are busting.

I heard New England beer co was shutting down their retail shop because neighbors were complaining. Is there any truth to this?

I've seen it a lot recently, only reason I havent pulled the trigger and stocked up is because the places ive seen it are charging $15.99/4pk...... cost is a little under $9/4pk. It might be just me but I think that is a bit much

I don't normally get gandhi bot because I've had it a million times and it's expensive at 12.99 a four pack. I remember drinking this beer when it came in 16oz six pack for 9.99. that being said I went to my local shop and asked if they had any bot in the back room yesterday. they keep it in the back room because a guy with NY plates came in and grabbed all five cases that came in the same day and a local came in and saw him walk away with it all made a stink about it. so now they back room it. I have full access to a couple of back rooms because I take care of my beer dept. boys with offerings from out of state and special CT releases. you've got to work the system folks.
maybe, but I don't think so.

This whole back room notion is ridiculous, if they put the beer out its free for the taking, but holding the beer hostage in the back is just as bad. I dont want to have to ask for a specific beer when I am anticipating releases, yet I still have to because countless places do this. Just put half a case out at the time if its that big of a deal.

Well thats what happens when people come in and buy 5 cases of it. I don't think it should all be put in the back, but at least most of it. There is absolutely no reason to come in and buy 5 cases of it, unless ur selling it for profit.

I dont ever drive to Conn for ghandi, I used to buy it when I was in college in providence. I have traded for it however...so why dont we take a step back and take some deep breaths before we assume people hoard.

Yeah the place doesn't have the best selection, but its the only place around that I saw Gandhi-Bot.

I don't mind stores keeping it in the back as long as they tell you on Facebook or Twitter that they have it in stock.
