I'll be in Atlanta next week (staying downtown the entire time) and would love to find some great local or regional finds. Downtown bars that have good stuff, or even a downtown store that carries something interesting. I'm from the Midwest so I'm looking for anything local or regional of great quality ... not even sure if ATL sees anything from CCB? I don't know much about good area breweries/beers other than what I've had at the ATL airport.
    Thanks in advance!

Bars: The Porter, The Wrecking Bar, Brick Store
    Stores: Hop City, Green's, Tower

We get very limited CCB—you'll be able to pick up Jai Alai without any issue.

Great, thanks! Any local brewers I should pay attention to?

Red Brick, IMO! Maybe some Three Taverns, too. Terrapin, of course. I'm pretty new here, but that's what I've gathered.

Burnt Hickory in Kennesaw is the best local option for beer.

Hop City is just a few minutes from downtown and is great. Other local and regional breweries to look out for: Westbrook; Monday Night; Eventide (draft/growler only); Wild Heaven; Jailhouse; Red Hare (I'm partial to their Watership Brown for the name alone); and Jekyll.

Not all are great, but each makes at least one or more good beers

If you like Belgians, I would add 3 Taverns to the list.
