Hi guys, I'm from South Korea and planning a trip to Germany and Belgium.

I'm not really into German beer(It's good, but I can easily get good german beers in Korea), so I'm looking for a bottleshop with US or England-Denmark...other Europe beers.

However I'm not good at English, and can't speek German at all, so it's really hard for me to find the right place.

I'm visiting Frankfurt and Munich, so I'm searching for the beer shop in Frankfurt or Munich.

I've never used online beer shop, but it seemed nice, although I have no idea how much the delivery will cost.

http://www.xn--getrnke-rudat-efb.de/ << I found this site, but the beer line up was a little bit dissapointing. It's pretty good, but wish there were more beer.

Sorry for the bad grammer, but I will be glad if you guys recommand me some beer stores. Thank you!

Give us some info on where you will be in Munich & Frankfurt and what type of transportation you are using.

And I think the german beers you'll get in Korea will be pretty different from what you can get in Munich. Many smaller breweries are making us-inspired IPAs and such now, plus they are putting new world hops in Helles and Weizen...This might be interesting for you:wink:

I will just use bus or metro. Rent car is too expensive and I'm not a good driver so....
I'm not sure where my hotel will be, but I'll be staying at the downtown? like many attractions are gathered.

Oh really? I just guessed German beers would be classic, traditional. It would be awesome to try out some German craft beer! Thanks!

Not to mention smaller breweries that don't export their beers around the world -- these beers are often more rich in character and taste completely different in fresh form. Don't discount German beers at the source.

Yeah that as well for sure:wink: many "classic, traditional" styles are mainly or exclusively consumed at the source..
So the picture you get what german beer is may be very far off, esp. regarding bavaria.

And other European-beers are hard to get in Germany - you can order them easily from shops in Scandinavia or the UK. but the shipping-costs are quite high (as well as the beer-price).
Are there special beers you're looking for? Many of the smaller German shops (and the larger as well like Rudat) don't have all of their beers on their homepage. And Rudat is one of the best-sorted places around with fair prices... But they have mainly beers from Scandinavia (To Øl, Mikkeller, Nøgne Ø) and Germany.
A wider selection of beers from other European countries you won't find in many places here - with a few exceptions in Amsterdam probably.

Do you have an exact travel-date? And if you have beers on your wish-list, you can probably find someone who has time for a direct swap

Does anyone (@boddhitree ) know if Braustil in Frankfurt has an attached bottle shop? That might have some of what OP is looking for, if it exists.

I never used shipping/dilivery for beer(it's illegal in Korea to deliver alcohol too) so I'm worried about the shipping cost, especially if it's from other country :slight_frown: But the beer price doesn't matter to me because the beer price in Korea is super high.

We have some Mikkeller, To Ol, Nogne, De Molen beers so I wish there are some other beers(I don't know Europe craft beer a lot but....). I am visiting Germany 12/17~12/25 or so(trying to see the Crhistmas Market), and I'm worried about beer trade because we don't have much beer in Korea... but really thank you for the information!

Shipping-costs are not too high. Inside Germany (so if you order from a German shop) it costs roughly between 6 and 10€. From other European countries it could be a bit more...
I will do some research and will send you a PM later  But ordering stuff online here in the EU is very easy and fast - and completely legal!!!

안녕하세요. If you don't like German styles then fair enough, but I wouldn't miss out on trying it from the source. In fact it was those German exports that kept me alive when I was an English teacher in South Korea :-D

Boring answer, but don't waste your time buying traditional English ale in bottles. You need to drink it on cask, the traditional method of serving English ale, and then you can appreciate the full flavour of the beer. I'm sure you've seen bottles of Fullers ESB and Old Peculier in Korea. Boring, aren't they? On cask they're incredible.
