I'm moving from brewing with a pot to brewing with a kettle and I am looking some help. All the recipes I have or have found are for brewing by pot in the kitchen. If you can point me in the direction of some good instruction/recipes or a recipe conversion from pot to kettle that would be a big help. Thanks for any help.
The recipe shouldn't differ much. If you're looking to get a large kettle, the only difference is that you'll be boiling the full volume of wort (not adding water at the end). you'll probably want a wort chiller if this is the route you are going.
How to Brew by John Palmer Were you doing a concentrated 5 gal batch recipes in a smaller pot then topping off with water or were you doing 3gal recipes and are looking to scale up to larger amounts in a kettle?
Pot=Kettle. If you are looking for larger batches, then it's no different. Look for full boil extract batches. I'm assuming you are extract still based on your question, however.
Browse thru the Homebrew Recipes at the top of this Homebrewing Forum. Most are all-grain recipes, so you may not be able to use them now, but if you are going to get into all-grain then some of these choices are ideal, proven choices that are posted by members of this forum. The bonus is that you get some recipe discussion with many of them too.
