Most of you know I’m a hoppy guy. But I do miss some of my old “old” school beer. I know we don’t get original Löwenbräu beer in OC (or LA?) area. Is there a brewery in OC (or LA) area that’s brew anything close to that style or taste? Last time I had og Löwenbräu was 2 1/2 years ago in cans from a friend. And it was delicious. No aluminum foil to choke on.
Bier (German Helles) is spectacular right now, finished off 4-pack this week. That said, I’m not sure how Löwenbräu Original stacks up to it as they also produce a Helles which is not exported.
Had it on tap yesterday at #too location. Grabbed 4pk along with Radiant and Cheating cans to go. Highly recommend for those in need of Löwenbräu fix. With a nice bite of hops. It was in my backyard all these years and not realizing it.
