Cantillon Blaebaer Lambic! I've heard good things about that one. If you cant empty your bank account trying to score one of these then I suggest you just go for something from Lindeman's, you can get that for less than $10.00 at Vons!

I'm pretty familiar with the RR wild ales, which I love, and are one of the reasons I'm looking to expand into other sour styles. Also, I am certainly open to trade.

You had me at "the most sour beer I've ever had". I'll be checking this one out for sure (along with many others that you all have recommended). And I know they have it at my local bottle shop. So I got that going for me, which is nice

The Drie Fonteinen Oude Gueuze is not on the shelves here, The Oude Kriek is but I don't think I'm ready to shell out the $30+ required to pick up a bottle.

Absolutely Jolly Pumpkin if they distribute or you can find it. As someone else mentioned, New Belgium's sours are very easy to find and also tasty.

If you're looking for the most sour beers you can find, stick with the Hanssens. Their gueuze is my favorite, and you won't find anything more sour than their experimental raspberry and oudbeitje strawberry lambic.

might need to pick one up next time I'm beer shopping. I keep passing it up for other beers.

La Folie, or Russian River sours if you're into trading. Rodenbach is damn good as well. The Grand Cru is straight sour but the classic version has a nice oakyness to it that I really enjoy while still having a nice sour note.

That's a bit of an understatement.

Russian Rivers if you have it also another good choice, as has already been mentioned.

Uh, going from Blabaer to Lindemans is like going from a Kobe filet to a chuck steak. It's not even close.

Cuvée Rene from lindemanns is a pretty easily attainable and fairly tasty gueuze

Don't forget the Berliner Weiss style. There are some nice sour examples to be found there.

Where the hell do you live that you find 3F easily and that cheap? I want to live there.

Ohio. When I'm in Columbus, I can usually find it for 13.99-15.99, depending on the shop. I paid 13.99 for the last bottle I bought, and I got it at the Sawmill Andersons.

I am glad I can go to my local brewpub and get 12 oz of a great Kriek for $6, same with all their sours including Cerise Casee a 10 or 11 year solera sour when it is available.

I thought Madame Rose was very good, although not that easy to attain outside of Chicago area.

Tilquin gueze is real nice and about $18 a big bottle. Not bad since I paid $11 for a 10.5 oz on tap. It was pretty amazing.

Bear republic tartare Berliner , it's tap only but so good

Cuvée Rene is good and really cheap, I pay about $8-9 regularly for the large bottle

Lots of good ones. Start saving your money

    Enjoy
