If you have a dishwasher with a 'sanitize' heat mode, that can be handy. I bottled a few dozen batches this way and never had an infection. (Starting with clean bottles of course) On top of that, put your bottling bucket above the dishwasher and fill on the dishwasher door. when you are done, close up the door, no mess. limitation to that is you can only do one batch at a time this way... Although im not sure what's worse, bottling three batches at once and cleaning three fermenters at once, or spreading it out over three days....

People thought I was joking when I said this to a coworker, she has yet to return the bottles so has missed out on the last 6-pack I handed out and was said.

Definitely this. Made my life a lot easier, as I bottle everything.

Likewise! A dishwasher with a sanitize cycle is your second best friend. I've never had an infection problem although I have bottled some "bad" beer.

best tip is this... have you some properly diluted sanitizer... take your already cleaned and sanitized racking cane and tube and assuming its not self priming, fill the tube with water... clamp/stob the endwith your thumb!!!!... then rack sanitizer into a glass(this really sanitizes the innertube before racking... clamp again with thumb!!!! just put the sucker in the beer while holding(again clean sanitize dhands too) thumb to end(now it's full of santizer but nones goin into the beer because your holding the end... then rack more into that glass(the sanitizer comes out first and as soon as it's beer you move it over to the bottling bucket... or if your me, you move it over to the "beer tasting glass then the bottling bucket:rolling_eyes: ....this is much easier explained with vids on youtube.

No infected beers in over 120 batches....

No infected beers here in at least twice as many batches  ...granted 50 or so of those were with no spigots

    I'm a clean freak too...but a lazy clean freak...cheers
