OP, this is a great idea! Yuengling, Miller High Life or MGD, Hamm's, PBR, Coors, Founders Solid Gold, Founders Hard Seltzer (don't sleep on this one, I am now a huge fan after working my way through a 15 pack with only a few more left)...hell I think that I may have just rattled off a list of stuff that I would rather drink anymore than some crappy IPA... But yeah any of the popular beers should be a hit with just about anyone.

Good point for sure but the other side of the coin is that you could expose people to beer that they may not normally have tried otherwise and gain a few converts.

I like DAB and a case of 16oz cans is approximately $24 near me.

I would be happy to get Hamms, High Life, or Founders Solid Gold too.

Southern Tier makes variety 15 packs for $18 around here. 12 oz cans. A hell of a deal.

    Sad but true. :slight_frown:
I've literally witnessed young people around here turning down free beer and talking smack about the classics because they "aren't hazy."

If you live in MD, I get my Hamm’s up in Allegheny and Garrett county. Closest I’ve found it.

or ST's 8 Days A Week ($8.99/8pk, just about everywhere)
Actually a blonde, but scratches that Just-Need-A-Beer itch like a basic lager. Almost every beer drinker, & a lot of not-beer-drinkers, would like it, & doesn't break the bank. :+1:

No Jacks Abbey in MD yet that I’m aware. We did just start getting Westbrook beers though.

. How much traffic do you get at your house from the Trick or Treaters? Guessing traffic will be down this year from Covid right? Buy a variety of beers you like as you’ll probably have leftovers....unless the high school boys find out about the guy In the neighborhood handing out beers, then all bets are off.

Yup, These were on sale here and I have been buying more than a few. Looks like they are now replaced by these. Same price as the ST was. You get 3x each Pils, Can o Bliss, Dales, G,knight and One-Y. All good. I do really like the ST pack for the Lake fog IPA.

    Enjoy

    Airplane bottles of Jack Daniels?

Did that one time at a Halloween party: dropped a hundred bucks on airplane bottles of various things, and dropped them into a messenger bag. Gave a few away to cute girls, and folks started walking up and asking me. Told em they hadda say Trick or Treat, and be happy with what they got.

Good times. Especially since the only way out of the top floor of the barn was a slide. With no sides. Medicinal airplane bottles for the uncoordinated.

I'm almost young enough to be your son (if you had me at an extremely irresponsible age just out of high school haha) so you can imagine how hard it is to enjoy craft beer with many people in my own age group. If I put together any kind of casual share, half the other young guys do not enjoy my "vinegar beers" and "boring stouts" that don't have marshmallow or cookies in them.

"I thought you said this was a sour beer? This tastes like salad dressing! Do you even lactose, bro? There's not even Oreos in here! Where's the double stuft cookie dough marshmallow fudge town maple sap house imperial pastry weisse with milk sugar, churros, slushee pop, blue razmatazz, cotton candy, Madagascar vanilla, Indian vanilla, Tahitian vanilla, Mexican vanilla, cacao nibs, cinnabun, and insulin? Ok boomer."
