Looking for sweet beers

    some Scotch Ales are on the sweet side both the standard 60/70p style and the 80/90p Wee Heavys

    I love sweet beers and love barleywines...and this one was too sweet for me!

    Yeah it's crazy. I actually liked it though, I just couldn't drink a ton of it. Interested to see how it would do with some age.

    try some trappist beer. Scotch ales tend to be sweet as well. I reccomend Rochefort 10 and Oskar Blues Old Chub.

    Dieu De Ciel Aphrodite if you can get it is sweet and delicious.

    Dark Lord, Pumking, Creme Brulee, Great Lakes Blackout Stout, Samichlaus. Anything high ABV (15%)will be on the sweeter side. I thought 120, World Wide Stout, and Raison DExtra were super sweet as well.

    If you can still find it then try Founders Frangelic Mountain Brown. But you have to like the hazelnut flavor too.

    Rock Hard Red. It tastes like Mountain Dew Code Red. I tried a sample one time, and while it's not something I would drink, I could see it being popular among high school kids.

    You can find Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat and Rochefort 8 in the state of MS.
