Looking to Diversify Our Moderation Team

Not including me, there are currently 12 volunteer moderators who help to update our beer/place listings and keep the forums as clean and friendly as possible. Everyone has varying levels of activity, but there are only four (including me) who are doing the bulk of the forum moderation. We need help.

And, this shouldn't surprise anyone, but the mod team is all men. We need to change this.

So, I'm looking to deepen our moderator pool by inviting those who'd like to help bring more diversity and new voices to the discussions here at BeerAdvocate.

Applicants must be:

• 21+
• a member of this site for at least one year
• active in the forums and check them most days
• willing to engage with the community and help to grow it
• able to apply moderation rules

Note: This is a volunteer position.
