Looking to get a small fridge

    I am looking to get a small fridge for cellaring some of my beers. If I get a wine fridge, is it ok to put the bottles on their sides? Or should I just get a college fridge and stand them up?

    I have read that most beer should not be stored on its side.

    You can take the shelves out of the wine fridge and install regular shelving so that you can stand the bottles upright in there.

    So if they shouldn't be on their sides, is there maybe something better to get? Like a college fridge with a temp control unit?

    There is a section on this site about beer storage. In summary, most breweries recommend storing their beers upright.

    The wine fridge would work fine, but like I said - alter the shelves and stand them upright. Or just get a regular fridge. Check craiglist. You will find a million options for a very reasonable price
