Just saw a post about them putting out Galaxy DDH Boom Sauce. Anyone had this yet?

Cool, maybe once they run out of states to distribute maybe they can concentrate on serving the local market.

That said, draft Boom Sauce seems to be hitting its stride - has been excellent the past several times I've had it. Packaged LH product at local stores remains dated & competitively too pricey for regular purchase.

are you sure about that? Just purchased a four pack of Boom Sauce brewed in early December and it is almost undrinkable.

I said draft. Haven't bought canned LH product since I stumbled across week-old Hobo Life in August. I stand by my opinion of BoomSauce draft being pretty decent. But I've heard the same recent reports that the packaged offerings are bad.

They have BS on tap at work, but I avoid it to drink Fiddlehead, which is the best readily available IPA in my area. Will give it a shot on your say so.

LH stuff is very iffy. If they've been taken out of the can holders, there's no way to know when it was canned. Even a lot odd the stuff on the shelves is months old. I usually skip it.

Yeah it annoys me that they've dropped tons of money building their business but can't get a date coder

I agree. Had it on draft last week and thought it was good, not great.

Latest batch of Steal this Can tasting nice from package. And I'm hard-pressed to give Lanigan much credit for anything.

Same here, but fresh Hobo Life is a very good beer. Usually. The others I don't care for.

I've had Hobo Life several times fresh on draft and it's very good for a session. I'm not a fan of anything else I've had from them.

Just wanted to weigh in and say that Consolation Prize, while not offensive, is way overpriced and will likely be the last Lord Hobo beer I purchase for a while unless I hear of things changing.

Yeah Hobo Life usually good. But comparing their $13 6 pack to Founders $18 15 pack....not even a contest, Founders every time.

Never even bought the cans, draft only where it can be a "deal" around Boston. Somehow cheaper in other cities though, which is just confusing.

On that subject- encountered a Boom Sauce $3 stadium pour in Denver in November.

    Lanigan's the best! :0(

If I could get LH at that price, I would drink it every time. Honestly I wish they would do a brown, red, bitter or porter(or even a brewery cask special would be killer). I feel like they they definitely have the talent and capability to produce something awesome in that realm. They do IPA/ Double IPA well, but something different would be cool, (I know everyone wants a sour, but there are are so many already killer ones).

I wish they'd offer their beer the same price in Boston as they do 2K miles away.
